I've not read the marquis de Sade in years, I wanna say Justine and Juliet (still think of) and the horrific 120 days of sodom that was somehow turned into a none too bad movie by Pasolini before he was shot down.

Bukowski has always been a favourite. his books sleep above me along with Celine and Knut Hamsun and a lil Dostoevsky .

I think I'd chuck the filmmaker Fassbinder in there for good measure also.
