After shoving the thought that he was merely a cog in a crooked machine, as were many others, out of his mind, and just like a large population he never could define love and understand love and would never question it when he was asked, “you do love me don’t you…” he replayed old memories through a cackling projection displayed in front of him at every traffic light, every stop, every superbly boring motorway incident or non-incident on his dreamy way home… it was where the world opened up to him…

It was his wedding day. The bride, his bride, was average at best with a sensual smile. She had blond slightly curled hair, kinda fat, would roll quicker than run and laugh about it too. Had innocent green eyes, only wanted to follow in the footsteps of her mother spreading the love she felt for all who were near her… but they had known each other long enough that co-habitating and talking to each other for the rest of their lives was never going to be too much of a problem. Who ever heard of love being a hassle anyway?

What else could he reply? The momentum of the pendulum — swinging big-balls of life — were in motion and where he needed to be compared to his peers was always on his mind… His mother and father already had four kids when they were his age.
