While we are keeping it short, a conversation with Matthew his favourite and only son.

“…You know in life you can do whatever you want but… it has to be reasonable… or you end up… doing nothing.” Dennis after circling the landing for quite some time finally explained.

They were on about a career, something to strive for, he, his son, suggested quite ardently, video games and becoming either a games tester or games designer.

After his fathers thirty minute open heart to heart,

his son’s reply, “Like you then,” then he went back to killing AI locusts on Horde mode.

She was fine one moment and then the next, not so much…

They had arrived, after much squabbling in the car and the house, as a family ready to eat sunday dinner like they very often did.

“I reckon the meat’s lamb.” Matthew guessed.

“No pork, we had lamb last week you idiot.”

“You’re all wrong it’s chicken.” Dennis said whilst driving the car.

“Ahhh mom, dad always cheats. He looks in the freezer, I catch him all the time.”

“Cheating, what’s cheating…It’s the only way to win more like,” he replied cheekily.
