Why not…

-His wife’s sisters name in bed (they were only making the bed) and were talking about her horrific, his wife’s words, “Truly horrific,” divorce to a man that could do no wrong before the excrement hit the fan. To the hell’s Satan of a child raping lunatic he now must surely be. Because she said so.

Her tone was venomous and her saliva was all over the place, it could have cleaned the dishes better than Dennis could. One of her better lines. She had a sardonic wit. But wit nonetheless.

He, the husband in question, had risen up in the world and gone through several receptionists in too short a space for it to be a casual thing…it must be considered that nothing had been proved by this point in the conversation.

“Well, do you have nothing, nothing at all to say?”

Dennis on the other hand, the metaphorical hand, did not know why she was getting so angry for a sister she neither knew nor cared about…they saw each other twice a year at most and even then they had nothing to talk about but compare hairstyles and laugh at other people who were not who they were.

“Means nothing to me,” he replied.

Dennis was not sure how he meant it, as a joke? So it came out fairly sarcastic…
